No one is going to say “You better not” except maybe your Doctor

Do you know what is interesting about eating unhealthy that I’ve noticed?

When you waltz right into your local restaurant there are many things to pick on the menu. The waiter is very helpful in coming to your table and taking your order. Then he will even take it from the kitchen to your personal table to serve you. But he never would say “You better not eat that, it’s not good for you.” Of course not. He’d get fired, right? The same goes for when we are in a grocery store. We shop for whatever we want. We put it in our cart and take it to the counter, and the grocery clerk runs the food through the scanner and bags it for us (in most cases). Not once will the checker say “Are you sure you want to buy that junk food? Do you know it can cause heart disease? You better not buy that.” How fast we would exit the building leaving our groceries behind with a mad face! So, that only leaves you to determine what you will eat and what you will not eat. No one is going to say to you “You better not!” You have to say it to yourself. It’s best to set your guidelines before you go to a restaurant or buy groceries. If it’s not in the house, you’ll be less tempted to eat unhealthily. It reminds me of the quote “If it’s gonna be, it’s up to me!” It really is up to you.

It’s also up to you to puff on that pipe or cigarette. No one is forcing you to. You can quit if you really want to, Sure, it won’t be easy. None of this stuff is easy, it’s only easy to write about it. Doing it, that’s the hard part. But, if you want your health to be good, you’re going to have to make better decisions. Why not start today? Don’t worry about it if you blow it. Start over, and reaffirm your goals of being healthy.

Inspiring you to have more Wealth and Riches in every area of your life,

Dexter
