This is a picture I took of our daughter standing on the observatory of the Empire State Building. You can see in the background the Chrystal Building and just how much taller this building is than it.



World Trade Center before they were destroyed. Built 1,368 feet tall (North Tower). 1,362 feet tall (South Tower).

The north tower was opened in Dec. 1970 and the south tower in Jan. 1972; they were dedicated in April 1973. They were the world’s tallest buildings for only a short time, since the Sears Tower in Chicago was completed in May 1973.

The last time a solar eclipse fell on Elue 29 of a Shemitah year was 28 years earlier in September 1987. It ushered in the greatest stock market percentage crash in American history the same month.
