…From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. – Luke 12:48
What does this REALLY mean for you and me? It’s quite convicting actually if you’re not doing everything that God has given you to do. How do you know if you are or are not doing everything God has given you to do? Easy. What gifts have you been given? The gift of teaching? Are you teaching others what you know or holding back? The gift of encouragement? Are you giving others a good word, or you just saying within your self “Ah they won’t listen anyhow, what’s the use?” Do you have the gift of being good with building things? Have you developed it and used to to make things or fix things for those that need that little extra help or are you being selfish and saying “If they can’t pay me, I’m not doing jack for them?” What gifts do you have and are you REALLY using them? You are required to by the giver Himself. If you don’t use them, there will be accountability one day. This message has convicted me, and I hope you too. Not to put you down, but to lift you up. To encourage you to develop the natural gifts that have been given to you, and then to use them to the maximum ability that you have.
Now go, and make a difference in someone’s life
