As I was driving home tonight I could see the SUV in front of me had one of those small televisions playing a cartoon. I assume to entertain a child in the back seat.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love technology; but sometimes it’s good just to be quiet. It’s good to be completely free of all electronic gadgets such as cell phones, home phones, televisions, game systems, computers, radios, iPods, and the such for at least a day.
I know some of you wouldn’t know what to do with yourself if you didn’t have some type of electronic around you giving you some type of entertainment.
The Bible says “Be still and know I am God”. And to have a Sabbath Day of rest unto the Lord.
How can we hear from God, but to be still at times? There’s so much noise around us, it’s a wonder we can hear anyone at all. Maybe some of you don’t? Is what is on T.V. more important than what your spouse or child has to say?
It’s not that God is some type of kill joy. Just the opposite. When we take one day out of the week to rest and honor Him, it renews our mind, our body, and our spirit for anything life might throw at us during the rest of the week. It helps us put into perceptive what is really important in life. It gives us time to read, reflect, and meditate.
So Shhhhhhhhhh. Try it sometime. It might seem weird at first, and you might even suffer some withdraws, but keep at it and you’ll find you look forward to a day of rest.
Inspiring you to have more Wealth and Riches in every area of your life,
Dexter Black

Just cause it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s not super hefplul.
I visited a lot of website but I believe this one has got something extra in it. “Do not smoke without asking permission or sit so near (as in a train) that the smoke might annoy.” by Amy Vanderbilt.
